Email Marketing for Dummies

There are more than 3.9 billion email users and the number is expected to hit 4.48 billion by 2024, nearly half of the world’s population. Over 80 percent of businesses use email marketing to acquire and retain customers. People love welcome emails. They enjoy an open rate of 82 percent, which is pretty high. Email marketing ROI is 4200% ($42 for every $1 spent).

Alright, enough “stats.” The point is, email is one of the best ways to communicate with your audience, make sales, and grow your brand.

You own your subscribers emails, not your Instagram followers. You’re in control. People scrolling through fast-paced social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram) are far less likely to give you their full attention for long enough to resonate. With email, this is far more likely.

Okay. Email is important. You should probably try it if you’re not already.
